Now I move onto Round 3 and 4 where I faced some ups and downs.
ROUND 3, FIGHT

So we've reached the third round, the same task of adding new ad campaigns for landing pages was asked of me once again. But before I did that, I had to review my previous ad campaigns.
What I've Done
This time I added more keywords and adjusted the bids of the keywords of the previous ads and reviewed the number of impressions for each keyword to see which keywords did better. For the landing pages, once again I used the best words every marketer adds when tasked to increase revenue and profits. "Sales", "Discounts", "Best price", etc.
I also tried adding the same keywords like "DSLR", "camera" and "best lenses" in each segment of the landing page so that the keywords used in my ad campaign would be effective and there would be more clicks. By the end of this round, I had 5 active ad campaigns running.
Analysis of Round
After running the simulation, profits had increased by $4000. Almost hitting the 5 digit mark which was good to see once again. My ad campaign seemed to do well because of keywords that involved the name of brands like"Canon", the product model "Canon EOS", product type, "DSLR" gained more impressions and clicks. I have taken note of this and shall start adding and bidding for such keywords in future rounds.
Now onto the next round!
ROUND 4, FIGHT

What I've Done
In Round 4 I made some adjustments to the 5 ad campaigns, by adding more keywords along with the important keywords that attracted impressions and clicks, I used trial and error and added keywords that had some relevance to the product and the description of the ad campaign.

My Thoughts
After running the simulator, I came to see a decrease in everything. My revenue, cost of goods sold, budgets, profits had all decreased, with the profits being $3000 less than my previous round, while other figures for different components in Round 4 had decreased greatly from Round 3. Initially, I had no clue what happened. Were the keywords I added ineffective? Was there a lower demand for the products I had chosen which resulted in lesser conversions and sales?
